This will be another “indoor” day–watching television coverage of the Barbara Bush funeral. The Houston NBC station has presented beautiful stories about the Bush family. Perhaps more hours devoted to her life (by local stations) because this has been their home for decades. Barbara Bush has had enormous influence in the community; heartwarming interviews with people touched by her kindness. 

Thankfully, the yard sale wasn’t advertised (and the banner is down). Rain. and chill, would have limited customers AGAIN  like previous two “disagreeable weather” weekends.

Early to mid-morning, my eyes were not constantly on the television screen. While listening to announcers, I prepared a veggie soup–ideal for a cool, cloudy, maybe rainy day. Conversely, during the entire funeral service, my eyes were fixed on the TV set.
