Occasionally the breaker “trips” and it is our hope a new cord will alleviate the problem. ~~ Thermometer in direct sunshine documenting the afternoon heat. Hurricane Irma is approaching the United States. I have friends living in Jacksonville, Florida, (and Orlando), and I’m requesting prayers for their safety, and the safety of millions of residents. I’m shaking my head in disbelief; I’m muttering “Oh no, not another hurricane.”

In an effort to “catch up” on yard work, etc., etc., I’m “forcing myself” outdoors for a couple of hours each morning. When perspiration starts running down my neck, time to come indoors?!
