Hurricane Irma is approaching the United States. I have friends living in Jacksonville, Florida, (and Orlando), and I’m requesting prayers for their safety, and the safety of millions of residents. I’m shaking my head in disbelief; I’m muttering “Oh no, not another hurricane.”

Thank you! It appears that Irma continues to veer off the coast, which doesn’t help south Florida, but is good for the rest of us. They’re already talking about the two storms right behind this one. Yay. But…I am grateful to see Irma’s path moving offshore.
