Bewitched, bothered and bewildered !!

A CARE volunteer is helping“Yours truly” enjoyed a second night in the multi-purpose room of the CARE Center. Mary (a volunteer) spent the night with me(*).  ~~ Gratefully, a volunteer named Rod added the necessary muscle to help David hoist the air-conditioner up to the roof. ~~ Several problems reared their ugly heads (bewitched)!! The retailer will ship the correct thermostat (bewildered) and David will complete the project at a later date.

“Yours truly” is extremely bothered by the heat and necessity to temporarily jerry-rigg the air conditioner installation.

Note the temperature is slowly coming down in my trailer home.

Bewitched bothered bewildered

Postscript, Thursday, August 4, 2016, 8:00 AM: It took hours–yesterday–to cool my trailer home. I’m glad to report, last night I slept blissful and comfortable in my own bed.

Cool and comfortablePlants were watered, weeds were pulled (and pictures taken). Too, too hot to work in the yard and unbearable inside my trailer home. With my laptop receiving a good WiFi signal in the CARE Center, I’ve imported pictures and prepared this message.  It’s an “almost cold” seventy-two degrees in the CARE dining room.

This blog message was prepared in the comfort of the air-conditioned CARE Center. The correct air-conditioner lower unit is being shipped “overnight.” David will return tomorrow and (hopefully) complete the project. ~~ Look at “feels like” / “real feel” temperature of 108 degrees at 3:40 PM, and 4:30.
