It’s no surprise to my readers that I am constantly drawn to web sites and magazine articles about health and nutrition. This web site article about molasses caught me by surprise. “Why didn’t I know that?” Rather than organic raw Agave (low-glycemic sweetener), I plan to use certified non-GMO molasses in my morning cup of green tea.
Likewise, I may sweeten Dandelion Root tea and Ginger tea that way. Yes, I drink a variety of “herbal” teas because of their health benefits. ~~ I’m growing both Dandelion and Ginger in my garden. I’m eating Dandelion leaves in my salad; I’ll “harvest” ginger root early next Spring.
