The plants are watered, the fountain/bird bath has fresh water. Bird feeders are full to overflowing; Hummingbird feeder has fresh nectar; Blue Birds have mealworms. It was very pleasant working in the yard–because there seems to be less humidity (or am I just getting accustomed to the humidity?).
The last two nights, no need to run the air-conditioner. The remainder of today WILL BE hot and humid; I’ll turn on the A/C very soon. (Wish you could hear my happy birds singing and twittering.)
One twinge of conscience: I ran so much water in the yard and lamented that the Western states are tortured with drought and massive wild fires. So many people are displaced (temporarily and permanently). My heart goes out to them because–for them, and the firefighters–it is not a beautiful morning.
