Make garden* while the sun shines !!

Another storm is on the horizon!!

Few pictures; too busy!! The perimeter of my yard was cluttered with items moved from the patio, and around the trailer, in preparation for washing the trailer. The last two days, I’ve moved things to their original, or better, location. Good thing I don’t pay for water because I have hosed hundreds of items before relocating them. Right now, 10:00 AM, I am soaking wet to my knees. I’m in the trailer to prepare a cup of coffee–which I will take to the rocking chair on the patio.

Too bad I didn’t take a “before” picture of the clutter on the north side of the storage building. My backyard neighbor has complained…  (because she can see it from her front room windows) so this morning I’ve greatly improved the appearance.

While sitting, briefly, in my yard rocking chair, I survey the yard and make decisions about where to place a planter. Then, what plant shall I put in that planter? Frankly, I now have more planters than I need (due to purchases–last Fall–of many attractive planters on-sale) but available when needed. (Frequently, when residents or volunteers move, I receive plants and planters.)

Back (here) at two o’clock. I pushed myself to get as much accomplished as possible (before the storm). Next week, all week, I’ll be working the CARE garage sale.

My goal is to establish “a place for everything and everything in its place.”  Hopefully “a place” for the Shepherd’s Hooks (from North Carolina), leaning against the storage unit. Likewise, hopefully, a place for other miscellaneous. The bed rail should be a satisfactory trellis?! Maybe cucumbers, or a tomato plant?? ~~ Where to plant the Dogwood tree?? ~~ Time to purchase more cement paving blocks and extend the patio. (That pesky mole is digging up the yard again–and the field.)
