Peeking out the window; “lurking”; camera in hand. I’m fascinated by the birds!! I’m not afraid of them; they don’t attack me (remember Alfred Hitchcock’s movie The Birds?). Grackles (I think they are Grackles) have taken over the Universe!! Cardinals, and Finches, can’t get to the feeders. Even the Robins leave the field when the black birds descend like a cloud. The invaders are bullies; they push and shove. Or, are they just extremely hungry??  ~~ At this rate, I’ll go through a fifty pound bag of bird seed in about one week!! ~~ On the Internet, trying to correctly identify, I am confused. These might be Cowbirds.
