Went shopping yesterday and found planters on sale at Tractor Supply. I bought three large and eight small planters. I’ll need for next Spring?! It was a wonderful surprise to find plastic planters that will fit in the wrought-iron hanging baskets. Coco fiber worked OK in planters, in North Carolina, but–in Texas–the plants dry out too soon. (Dry out, and die.) Then to Walmart for ink for my printer–and found two more larger planters. At a thrift shop I bought the bed rail ($3.00) and it may become a trellis next Spring. ~~ Note last picture of St. Francis of Assisi on freshly painted base. Fifty minutes later he was in “Lake Lorraine.”
