Almost time to walk away from the computer?! The yard needs weed whacking; weeds need to be pulled from planters! After three weeks… definitely time  to do the laundry. Paperwork is waiting…. Furthermore, there is a mini-storage facility–several miles down the highway–that begs my attention (“downsizing”).  Closer to home, the squirrels and birds would appreciate food in their feeders. ~~ The heat and humidity leave me lethargic; I really don’t want to “do” anything!! The swimming pool looks inviting, I’ll try that soon.

Sunday, July 13th, 2014, 2:00 PM. Slow and easy is my motto for today. Too hot to be outside this afternoon!! This morning, I accomplished “laundry”!! I’m preparing sugar-water for the Hummingbirds (NEVER buy the prepared chemical red stuff because it kills the birds); I’ve spent time on the computer because, thankfully, I have a free Wifi signal from the CARE Center. Tomorrow, anyone’s guess whether I’ll have a WiFi signal. Now, I am going to relax in my comfortable glider and watch another chapter in the 1985 mini-series titled North and South. The entire set of eight DVDs cost less than $15 and purchased the afternoon, evening, and night spent at Walmart in Midlothian, Texas. (I have a love-hate relationship with Walmart. I love to spend the night in their parking lots; I hate the way they treat their “associates” and I rarely shop Walmart. However, while availing myself of their hospitality, I browse every aisle and occasionally succumb to an impulse purchase [North and South]. I always spend money because fair and honest thing to do.)
