If Bluebirds are in the area, why didn’t I see them last week, or two weeks ago, or a month ago?? Is it possible “Provide mealworms and they will come?” ~~ (“If you build it they will come.” Field of Dreams) ~~

Postscript, same day, 3:00 PM: I am actually grateful for rain this afternoon so I can try to organize things indoors. I’ve spent almost the entire day in the yard. ~~ I planted the remainder of the sprouting bulbs (and numerous other projects I won’t list).

Hi, looks like you are really settling in. I thot of you yesterday when I received two magazines with great garden ideas and pics. Southern Living March 2014 andBetter Homes and Gardens March 2014. They sure gave me some ideas. I just learned that Bluebirds do not move away or migrate. They are hear yearround, they just are not close by or nesting I suppose. We had quite a snow storm lat week and the birds were here in flocks. I had about 1/2 dozen Blue Jays. They are rascals. They like dog food, and they were hard to get pictures, but, I managed to get a couple. Hope you are doing well. Miss you! Miss our plant talks and birds. Have a great weekend. BC
