From the garden I was tending next to the parking lot. It was a lovely bud; it has been a beautiful blossom. I suspect the petals will soon drop off. I haven’t composed an eloquent message comparing my current life situation to the rose. However: I’m wilting!! I’m old (and past my prime)!!
