Something old, something borrowed !!

Truthfully, the pictures don’t really reveal the difference between “before” and “after” pictures. Accept my word for it, a lot of vegetation was removed and the area looks a lot better!! Something “old” is ancient root systems that thrust out new growth and look unsightly (in my humble opinion). Something “borrowed” is additional tools to tackle the project.  I hired a teenage young man because “common sense” dictated I couldn’t do the job.  Recently I started… but was soon the meal for a million “no-see-ums” and/or mosquitoes.  Or (maybe) poison oak or poison ivy?!  I was in misery!!  ~~  I wish the young man had more hours for my project but he has a full schedule.  He suggested he might be able to get back “in August.”  ~~  I anticipate that I will be donning long pants, long sleeves and spraying heavily with a repellent before I finish beautifying that area.  Trust me, I’ll be working there soon!!

#1, 2, 3, 7 & 9 are “before” pictures at approximately 7:40 AM.

#4, 5, 6, 8 & 10 are “after” pictures at approximately 2:10 PM.
