Actually, 5:00 PM, Saturday, 7/21/2012: The Bluebird babies **had** to be the lead story for today.  This appears to be “my day” for pictures. I’ve never been quick enough, in the past, to get a picture of a Hummingbird on one of my feeders. Or, maybe, “she” just lingered a little longer?! I say “she” because the males have all the color.  I snapped about two dozen pictures and this is the only one worth displaying.  ~~  Over this past year, I’ve shared pictures of many of my backyard friends: Bluebirds, Butterfly, Cardinals, Cottontails, Crows, Doves, Finches, Possums, Raccoons, Squirrels,Woodpeckers–and now a Hummingbird.   I’ll say it again: “I love my backyard garden!!”  No picture, but recently I saw a pair of Robins on the grass in the yard (and that was a rare treat). Maybe the robins are avoiding my “Grand Central Station” full of wildlife?! Too many squirrels??
