If Lorraine had not been evicted from the CARE Center, Lorraine could dash to the Center for breakfast and “hang out” in the warm building. If Lorraine had not been evicted from the CARE Center, she wouldn’t be out of propane.
The old lady is looking for her gloves (or mittens). She is bundled up in her “slanket” watching TV. Guess what: No propane!! It has been my hope and prayer that the propane would last until my move. Obviously, I won’t have the tank filled because too big and too heavy to take to another location. The “space heater” is not warming my trailer home.
Where’s my thermal underwear? I’m wearing several layers of clothes but I’m still cold!! No, I’m not huddled under the “slanket”; I’m about twelve inches from the space heater. No, I’m not watching television; I’m climbing the family tree. A cousin sent an obituary (via email) so I’m documenting her family. “Cousin” said she had “Frantz” ancestry so I’ve been searching–and documenting–her lineage.
Arrived home at 3:35 and rushed to cover the plants. It was “dry” here but we had rain further North and just a few minutes prior. (As I type this at 4:35 the wind has blown one cover off one plant.) Hard freeze predicted tonight.
The RV Park is an absolutely marvelous place and I’m eager to move there. I solicit your prayers because I am number seventeen on the waiting list. The Park is so incredibly perfect, people seldom move.
…too many hours “climbing the family tree” limits hours of sleep? Twelve consecutive hours yesterday, I was immersed in research of the family of a new-found cousin. Frankly, it was so cold outdoors (and indoors), I ignored my discomfort by focusing on documenting her family. I didn’t get three hours of sleep last night. So I was “up” before 4:00 AM and continued searching and documenting.
Last night, for the absolute first time, I watched the Jimmy Fallon Tonight Show. Why? Because the show originated from Austin, Texas. I enjoyed this new experience (but I won’t “follow” the show).
