No energy; lack of desire to “do” anything. The cupboards were bare, the refrigerator was empty!! Went grocery shopping (spent almost $400.00) but unable to approach the preparation of a tasty meal. ~~ This is my journal and I want to document my life experience in this new year. ~~ I’m having problems with my computerS; Ancestry.com has changed and I’m frustrated as I try to “muddle through.” I could say “It’s a conspiracy”  but I’ll cling to the scripture that reads “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.” Romans 8:28.

I turned on the TV expecting to see the Doctor Oz program. Thumbs up for Doctor Oz!!

“They”  will have to drag me kicking and screaming to a camp to “reprogram” Trump supporters. “They”  may take away my Internet service (innocuous old lady) because I’m a flag-waving Christian Republican. My prayer: “God bless Donald Trump.”

There is only one way to unity.

Samaritan’s Purse in my home town of Lancaster, California.

Mixed emotions when I heard the names “Lancaster, California” and “Samaritan’s Purse“–on the Christian TV channel TBN. I love all three. I hate the Coronavirus that has had such a negative effect on all our lives!!

Readers of my blog know that Ancestry.com has been my “crutch” this past year. To assuage my loneliness due to isolation during the Coronavirus pandemic, I spent eight, ten, twelve, or fourteen hours a day at the computer “climbing the family tree.” To my knowledge, the computer isn’t sick. However, recent changes to the format on Ancestry.com forces me to confess sickness and sadness. An enforced halt to the documentation of family, and obituaries of extended family members, because my brain rebels at the prospect of learning the cumbersome new features.
