“A sucker born every minute”

At the evening meal, in the dining room (at my table), a retired attorney made it very clear that I made a very foolish mistake three and one-half years ago. “They saw you coming and took advantage of you.”  He said (in essence) that I’ve been “screwed, blued, and tattooed.”  With the information I provided, he thinks I’ll be lucky to give the trailer away. Yes, he thinks I have “stupid”  tattooed on my forehead.

POSTSCRIPT @ 8:00 PM: Considering the information I heard at the evening meal, I’m depressed and going to bed at 8:00 PM. I tried rocking in my new chair and that was no consolation. Can’t watch TV because “scheduled maintenance” and no programming.

Peculiar project ?

When it is cooler, perhaps this evening, I’ll put the bottles and vases on two hanging displays. At my other location (if you remember?), there were three and I had red, white, and blue on separate frames. I’ll mix the colors here because I only have two hooks (to hang from). ~~ On Sunday, a young couple looked at my trailer home and, spontaneously, offered to help me take down the bottles.

Trailer home for sale in Waco, Texas

A friend suggested I advertise my trailer home on my blog. I’ve asked my Heavenly Father (God) for helpso I won’t ignore her suggestion.

Comfortable “Park model” (similar to a “Mobilehome”) on a large lot in Concord Estates RV Park–an “adults only” Park. The rent is approximately $550.00 per month. Resident chooses their own electric service, propane service, and TV service.
The unit is a 2002 Park Royale built by HPM (“Heritage Park”). With the “tip out,” the living room is fourteen feet wide. The length is about forty feet. There is a “stack” washer and dryer; a large refrigerator-freezer, and a four-burner gas range with oven and broiler. There is a forced air furnace and two window air-conditioners.
Of notable value: There is a large metal roof that covers the entire trailer. No hail damage in our recent storm while neighboring homes (without a cover) sustained damage. A large covered porch extends the length of the trailer. There is a large fenced yard with a large tree, and several plants including a beautiful Crepe Myrtle tree. The RV site has a large carport and a storage unit.
A perspective buyer needs to complete an application with the management company and receive approval before proceeding with the purchase. Contact C.I.F. Real Estate at 254-756-2957 or 254-799-9110.
Contact the owner of the Park Royale trailer at 936-252-2168. The suggested sale price is $30,000.00 but, honestly, that is negotiable.

One thing is constant

My life experience has drastically changed. Gratefully, I can still enjoy my gourmet coffee each morning.

.

One BIG loss: Christian programming on TBN. Television reception is free (here) but it is “basic” and I guess I had additional channels at my trailer home.

Robbery !!!

Probably NOT the best time to be writing a blog message?! I’m so upset, I’m crying!! The management company (that collects the rent for the RV Park) just called and the bottom line is “We want our money.”  They have looked for my check for the water bill and, furthermore, informed me that I’ve been charged $96.00 for mowing my yard. I said I haven’t been there recently to place my check in the drop box. “They” are making little to no effort to help me sell the trailer. I informed the woman that many items have been stolen out of my yard. I’m paying the rent, it’s still my RV site but individuals have robbed me of a leaf blower, toolbox with tools, wrought iron Sheppard Hooks with wrought iron hanging baskets planters,  and wind chimes (to name a few). Good heavens, $96.00 to mow my yard; that’s robbery!!
