I’m still developing this one but will share with you while it is “under construction.”

Postscript, May 10th, 10:30 AM: Pictures are in, narrative to follow. Still need some “tweaking” on the appearance.

You have questions? I have answers !!

What’s that cute little car? I think it is a GEM (General Electric Motorcars). Check this website.  It was certainly a role-reversal when I stopped the owner and asked about “that cute little car.”  Usually, people approach me to see “that cute little trailer.”

How many pictures? One hundred forty-eight (148) in the preceding blogs at 11:30 AM Thursday, May 10th, 2012. (One hundred sixty-six taken during the trip.)

How many miles? Three hundred eighty-nine (389) miles round trip. One hundred forty-five (145) en route to Blue Ridge T@B Rally; 188 miles en route home. There were “running around miles” during the trip.

How many trailers at the Blue Ridge Rally? Forty-five (45) were registered; some came early and left early; others arrived for the weekend. Rally dates were Wednesday, May 2nd until Sunday morning May 6th. Some folks arrived as early as Friday April 27th.

Was your “yard sale” a success? Yes, I am very happy with the $130. in sales!!

How long did it take you to prepare the Blue Ridge T@B Rally blogs? I failed to keep track of the hours. I have mileage and total number of pictures but no record of the time spent preparing the several blogs. Truthfully (when not at work or driving to and from the chiropractor appointment) every spare minute has been spent at the computer. It is now Thursday evening May 10th, 8:00 PM. The date (to your left) was changed so this blog follows those titled Blue Ridge T@B Rally 2012.

What prompted you to see a doctor in Wilkesboro?  He was my doctor-of-choice several years ago when I lived in Shelby, North Carolina.  Frankly (this past year), I didn’t want to schedule an appointment with three hundred mile drive round-trip.  It was so convenient to the T@B Blue Ridge Rally–only twenty-five miles to the doctor’s office.  ~~  If you have followed my blogs, you know that I ascribe to a holistic-health life-style.  I don’t take prescription medicine; I don’t buy over-the-counter items either; I don’t have flu shots.  For more information, check the web site for Holistic Medical Clinic of the Carolinas.  My physical exam was Tuesday May 1st.  Blood was drawn for a full-panel screening.  I learned the results during a consultation with Dr. Cohn on Monday May 7th.  I have no major medical problems (praise the Lord)!!  I was encouraged to buy–and seriously use–specific nutritional supplements.  (I’ve been very lax about taking my vitamins!!)  Before I left the parking lot (under that ancient tree), I bought the suggested supplements at Mother Earth Foods.  ~~ (I’m thrilled by the good health report!!)

Home sweet home !!

Home again (5:00 PM).  I’ll post lots of pictures soon.  First I had to feed my birds and squirrels, and water my plants. (A neighbor was watering… while I was away.)

~~~~~~~~~~
Postscript, Tues. May 8th, 11:00 AM:  I’ve spent the morning exporting 163 pictures from my camera to Picasa on my computer.  Perhaps tonight I’ll get some pictures on the blog.  Now I must get ready to go to work.
En route to a T@B rally !!
“Goodbye, farewell….”  (Remember that song from The Sound of Music?)  I’m leaving today to attend a T@B Rally near the Blue Ridge Parkway.  There will be over 40 units and I believe most will be T@Bs.  This is a much-anticipated annual event!!  ~~  I doubt that we will have WiFi so I probably won’t add another blog until I return next week.
Inquiring minds want to know !!
I am ill-informed when it comes to trees, flowers, and gardening. Frequently, I go to Ask.com and write my question. About four this morning, couldn’t sleep, got up to seek information about a tree at the edge of my yard. It is directly across from my patio doors so I see it every time I step outdoors. There are small sweet-smelling white flowers. I was curious about the name of the plant. Well, I learned far more than I anticipated!! I read several web sites and found the Chinese privet is NOT a tree to brag about. Problem plants.  Plant guide. In spite of its negative reputation, I’m enjoying the pungent aroma.
Three Quarters & Counting
This is my new blog, “under construction.” After weeks of frustration with Google’s Blogspot, I was forced to search the Internet for another venue. I have a lot to learn because all appears new and different–and “yours truly” is “three quarters and counting.” Two years of earlier blog information can be found at TabTeardropTravels. ~~ (Comment: If you think you read this “last month” you’re correct. I keep moving it to the top of my blog to explain my move….)
