ALL DAY on the computer. Still no “free”  solution for my Dell computer problem. I may be forced to pay $30.00 or $40.00 to download the simple solution. I’ll postpone for a couple of days because my plants have suffered today without their fresh water. I’ll nurture them tomorrow morning before doctor’s appointments.

The TV weatherman says rain on the horizon–in TEN DAYS!! Until then, we have “extreme heat warnings.”

Ten o’clock and I’m back indoors, in pleasant air-conditioning. I was wringing wet with sweat, outdoors, doing the every morning watering routine.

As indicated yesterday, when I go to–or from– the refrigerator in the laundry room, I briefly do a task in the yard. With this heat, one can’t be outdoors very long!!

Every time I make a trip to the refrigerator in the laundry room, I detour and spend a few minutes raking the ashes and/or sweeping ashes and depositing them in containers. No rain predicted but I want to get the ashes under the roof before another storm.

I’m going crazy spending so much time inside my trailer home. I’m “doing” family history on the computer but need to move around occasionally.

I heard that remark. Someone said “Come-on, Lorraine, we aren’t interested.” Would it interest you if I said I did not go to the Clubhouse last night to watch the movie Mr. & Mrs. Smith? Would you like to hear about my great-grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Gideon Watson Smith? Would it interest you to know that I have the following surnames in my family tree(?): Folger, Kellogg, Macy, Sears, and Starbuck.

My single accomplishment today?! I bleached the fountain/bird bath and flushed clean with gallons of water. I hate the appearance with gray-green algae. I hate the extreme heat; I hate air-conditioning (but can’t survive without it).I hate being without the RV refrigerator and my handyman/friend must be dead (or dying) because invisible for more than a month.

An explanation: Recent eye exam confirmed my worst fear. I’m losing my vision. That’s why I’ve been using a large font for my messages (and need a magnifying glass).  Also: I’ve frequently mentioned my persuasion for “holistic health.”  However, some problems forced me to see a doctor and tests have been ordered. This being “my journal,”  I’m forced to be honest. (Right?)
