The days (and weeks) between Thanksgiving and New Year’s Day are the most difficult. I view myself as a “social person” but I have been virtually a hermit for almost three years. Doing genealogy… is my escape from depression.

“Detective Lorraine”  was challenged by a cousin marriage. My cousin (with funeral home and obituary subscriptions) sent an obituary a couple of days ago. The common ancestor was very difficult to locate. There are several other familial relationships (for later documentation?).
