Yes, this genealogist has Kentucky cousins. I’m so heavy-hearted because of the tornado disaster. Please join me in praying for everyone devastated by this terrible weather event.
I was a secretary at NASA, Edwards Air Force Base, California, when the Challenger exploded. On closed–circuit NASA TV, I saw it happen—with coworkers and the Program Director. ~~ Gratefully, today’s Blue Origin launch and landing was perfect. ~~ Challenger, and Columbia.
I feel such grief; my heart is so heavy! At this time, I can’t watch any more coverage of the devastation in Kentucky. I’d like to assist; I feel so helpless!!
No, I’m not praying to the computer. I’m at the computer–PRAYING–and requesting your prayers.
Lorraine’s trailer home feels cold; Lorraine’s emotions are sad!! “Watch a Christmas Hallmark movie” came to mind. Quite possibly, Lorraine has never watched a Hallmark movie in the middle of the afternoon. Today, it is an escape from weary and dreary to fantasy. (Hot tea, too.)
Unusually warm temperature—and “the old lady” is awake in the middle of the night. Yesterday’s enhancements to my bed did not help me last night. Maybe tomorrow? Excuse my bullheadedness but I do not believe an expensive mattress is an answer. I think “old age” is the culprit (and I know Seniors who share my problem).
Postscript: I’m grateful for my comfortable glider.
