The picture (left) was taken with my reliable Canon camera. Yes, many of my garden items are destined for tender loving care with another family.
After charging the battery for the Nikon, I was ready to take some pictures. I confess to poor vision but I think the picture of the “sensor” (on the left) is fuzzy. I may need to change some settings and that may require a Google search for instructions. Honestly, the Nikon is intimidating because there are a dozen “unknown” buttons and knobs. Tomorrow, I’ll try both cameras focused on the same subject, at the same time. Not today because it’s “put the projects away” time of day.
Changing the subject: I spent a lot of time working in the carport and storage. The last task was the “blower” to blow out dust and leaves–so the carport looks cleaner—and ready for visitors.
4:15 PM ~~ For the first time this season, I am making “sun tea.” OMG, I’m functioning like a normal human being? (1) Grocery shopping yesterday, (2) working in the yard this morning, (3) exploring features of the indoor-outdoor thermometer, and (4) exploring the features of the Nikon camera. I’ve spent too much time procrastinating!! I pray this is “the first day of the rest of my life” and depression and “scaredy-cat” are things of the past!!
Postscript: After productive time spent in the yard, it’s time for lunch.~~~~And another postscript as I confess it is time to turn on the air-conditioner.
Postscript: The battery is charging. I’ve explored the features of the Nikon. There is no manual but I anticipate it will function similarly to the Canon. I may check the Internet for additional information. OMG, two (2) sets of lenses. The telephoto will be awesome!! ~~~ It feels like I received an early Mother’s Day gift!!
Inflation?? More than $300.00 and no alcoholic beverages, candy, chips, Dr. Pepper, ice-cream, meat, or yum-yum snack foods. I hate Walmart but I shopped there because it is close to the Post Office. Imagine this: There were things on my shopping list that I did not find at Walmart!
Yesterday, I was certain of this “cousin marriage.” However, I had a nagging feeling the individuals required a lot more research and documentation. Today, it required hours of intensive research (and documentation) and it was NOT a cousin marriage. Personally, I do not “cut corners” (and copy from another Ancestry member’s family tree). Those who do… complicate things for those of us who don’t.
More than one-hundred folks added… while correcting the misinformation. Note that my database now has fifty-thousand individuals.
