Sticky fingers !!

One of my Walmart purchases was used for two repair projects today. The door “split” on the little “garden tools” storage box (clippers) and repaired with Loctite Super Glue. The remnant from my RVing days took a beating in the last wind storm. I had to repair “Florida.” “Sticky fingers”  for Lorraine.

Bad grief

The TV news is so negative!! I was watching the news conference in Boulder, Colorado. Before that… the crisis on the border of my adopted home state of Texas. I felt compelled to turn off the TV.

This is my journal and I want to document that I have a heavy heart. The following Holy Bible scripture keeps running in my mind.

March madness !!!!

Almost four in the afternoon and I have been working on the Tiner-Harris ancestry since eight this morning. I’ve searched the families more times than I care to recount and still no new valuable information. There was (is) interesting information about early immigrants where Tyner and Harris merge. Sadly, I can’t get past Dee Harris’ fourth great-grandfather to see if her family connects to Red’s Tiner/Tyner family. “March madness”  because I want answers!!

.

Postscript at 12:45 AM Tuesday, 23 March: I’m still “climbing the family tree” for the Tiner-Harris family. Utter insanity to spend so many hours and so few answers.

Moan & groan ?!

“Moan” and “groan” are twins who have kept company with me for the last sixteen hours. Yesterday, I spent four-and-one-half-hours shopping in Walmart. Here are a few numbers: Fourteen-and-one-half-months in Waco, Texas, and this is only the second time I have shopped at Walmart. (I’ve left home rarely this past year.)  Six and nine-tenth miles round-trip and I spent almost six-hundred dollars. My legs are extremely painful (and I “moan” and “groan”) and I attribute it to walking on cement floors for hours. Truth be told: I haven’t spent much time standing and walking. (“Walmart” because many items on my list haven’t been located at my preference H.E.B.-Plus market.)

Forthcoming project

This “tree climber” is preparing to print the ancestry of my friendsthe ownersmanager of this RV Park. The printed pages will be inserted into the page protectors. Why? Because printing in Ancestry doesn’t allow a margin for three-hole punch. I don’t want to “punch” through text. Thus my trip to Walmart for a notebook, etc.

.

After the catastrophe

I miss my dead tree “bottle tree” with Christmas lights. Here I am, after the catastrophe, thinking about the purchase of a metal tree. I like this tree but I’m definitely not going to splurge due to the shipping cost!! What do you think? OK, OK, I hear you. Two professional “bottle bushes” and one professional “bottle tree” are sufficientplus the three professional “bottle chandeliers.” Plus: Two improvised bottle trees.

Here is a “bottle tree” at a reduced price if you are interested in joining me and my fetish.

Uniquely yours ?!

“Yours truly” had a large wardrobe of vests (in Lancaster, California). To the left, the outfit worn to Church on Easter Sunday (2002 or 2003?). On another occasion, the vest with Noah’s Ark. ~~ (I’m making slow progress with pictures from “the cloud” but delightful to walk down “Memory Lane.”)

.

.

Postscript at twelve noon: Yes, I still have several vests but I rarely “dress up” (due to isolation for one year).

Another St. Patrick’s Day picture

Another picture observed while I’m attempting to get thousands of pictures organized–AND SAVED–in one place. Thousands of my pictures are in “the cloud” and I want them in the software program named Mylio. I’ve watched three Webinars (for Mylio) and the presentation makes it look simpleand beautifully organized. For this old lady, three obstacles: 1) Windows-10, 2) Mylio, and 3) “the cloud” (Carbonite). ~~ Hint: I’m not tall and I’m not small.
