I’m on my soap-box: My voice may not reach very far but I refuse to be part of “the silent majority.” Yes, I’m hearing Christians say “why bother?” because their vote doesn’t count, With all my heart, I believe my vote–and yours–is valuable. ~~ Don’t delay, vote as soon as possible.
Franklin Graham offered an awesome opening prayer on this fourth night of the Republican National Convention. Maybe the reader can Google it. I’ll check to see if I can find a copy…
The “dem bones” blog message was prepared several days ago. Today–this morning–it seems so “shallow” in light of the news about the damage from Hurricane Laura. The displaced residents will be subjected to an enhanced possibility of contact with Coroavirus.
The words came to mind (in part) on Sunday. I was suffering from aches top to toe. I questioned (in my mind) how a few laps around the RV Park–on a three-wheel-bicycle–would cause such discomfort. Duh!! Six months sitting at the computer left my body vulnerable to aches with minimum exercise!! ~~~ Each morning, I have forced myself to ride–and now experience fewer aches.

Individuals are forced to evacuate their homes as Hurricane Laura approaches Louisiana and Texas. Their tragedy is complicated by “social distancing” due to the Coronavirus pandemic. Requesting prayer seems small (imho) compared to the enormous toll on families. My heart aches because I can’t “do” anything to help.
