IF…

If our lives had not been turned upside down, I would have enjoyed breakfast today with my new family (in the clubhouse). Yesterday I would have devoured a waffle with my new family (in the clubhouse). If we hadn’t faced isolation and if business’ had not been forced to close, I might have had cataract surgery (in Waco). Spending hours on the computer–with my magnifying glass–may(?) cause sleepless nights. I’m concerned about family, friends and neighbors. (Can’t check on my neighbors.) No, not a “pity party”; I have anxiety for our present situation. I cry for the families who have lost loved ones; I cry for the unemployed…

Two angels at my door !!

.

Frequently,I tell friends and family that I’m living in “a little corner of Heaven.” To my surprise AND DELIGHT, I found seven bags of groceries at my front door. The angels brought fresh food, organic eggs, almond milk, and whole-grain bread ~~ I was in the shower when “the angels” arrived.

Don’t tell anyone. I’ve been depressed and spend hours “gliding” in my easy chair. I’d been in the same clothes all week (and slept in my clothes); it had been a week since I took a shower. I confided that information to a friend earlier (on the phone) and “friend” ordered me to take a shower. A shower and a visit from angels really make me happy.

Off my derriere !!

The visit from two Angels inspired me to get off my derrière. Yes, the living room has a “lot of stuff’ but I’m making a place for family pictures and genealogy reference material. Gratefully, fewer boxes in the storage unit.

“Shabbier” because the shelves got wet and warped.  It won’t be obvious in the privacy of my bedroom.

Off my derrière.

Researcher extraordinaire ?

“The old lady”  spent hours “researching’ clipart for these messages. Believe it or not, eighteen blog messages prepared and scheduled before the end of the day Sunday, April 5th. Why? I took Dr. Phil’s remark about “Be creative”  seriously. To protect my health, I remained isolated. “Time on my hands” so I spent hours on the computer. So many of my readers are, likewise, isolated and I want to put a smile on faces. Be honest: Did you laugh once or twice?
