“Cry”-day ??

In bed -l-o-n-g- before midnight; very good night’s sleep. Early, eager, to start preparing the “traditional” New Year’s Day meal. “Liked,” and disliked, the onion because it brought abundant tears to my eyes. This is “happy” New Year so, ideally, no tears!! (Right?)

2019, first few hours

Food preparation, washing dishes, watching the Rose Parade. Complaint: TOO MANY COMMERCIALS!!! I reminisce about the “good old days” when KTLA, Los Angeles television, never left the parade. We were able to see every entry. ~~ Habitually, I only use the center burner on my cook stove. The Kale will be steamed later… and thoroughly enjoyed.
