“Downsizing” the story of my life ?!

.

While searching for “downsizing”  clip art (in my vast library of clip art), I found this picture that dates back many (many) years. I had a booth in an indoor flea market. You can see the large collection of Red Hat Society clothing. Some sold, some were donated to an upscale thrift shop that supported battered women. Confession: I still have Red Hat Society dresses and hats. Sadly, I’ve never found a RHS chapter to join. (My chapter–in Lancaster, California–was open to everyone [and we had more than fifty members] but many local chapters listed on the Internet state they are “closed.”)

My website, In My Humble Opinion, was my only access to the following last two pictures. (Actually, with a lot of “digging” I might find the originals, but this is a “big laugh” message–not photo journal.)

Interesting reading (imho).

Late afternoon experiment

Conservatively, fifty different projects accomplished today. I had no specific project in mind when I started my day; I just moved from one to another as my eyes fell on something needing attention. Number One: Took down the yard sale sign. I won’t bore you with Monday (mundane) details. ~~ I’m anxious to see if oatmeal kills ants living in a hill under the asphalt driveway. ~~ Since writing previous… I checked the Internet and this link says the treatment is ineffective. Oh well, I considered it an interesting experiment.
