Weather wonderful Wednesday !!

Beautiful weather in Southeast Texas!! The television news portrays the awful weather in the East in the third “Nor’easter” in two weeks. According to the calendar, “Spring” is only one week away but full-fledged Winter for a friend in Maine. (Does she regret leaving Rainbow’s End, Livingston, Texas?) ~~~~ Or, should the title of this blog be Wacky Woman Wednesday?? Why?? Because (among other things on a busy day) she counted bird feeders. Fifteen (15) feeders hanging with bird food  and fourteen (14) feeders stored or hanging as a decoration. Furthermore, four (4) feeders are with yard sale items because duplicates. Why duplicates?? Because (on occasion) I purchased another when I didn’t have access to my supply.

Such a relief to cross off a couple more trivia tasks.

Hummingbird on feeder !!

Yours truly never expected a Hummingbird this soon!! It was a shock to look out the window and see the flutter of wings. Since 9:24, one more visit observed but I wasn’t quick enough to get another picture.

Click the picture for large view and then place the “plus” mark between the white arrows. Not a prize-winning photo but documentation that a Hummingbird found the feeder in less than twenty hours.

Left: Hung a second Hummingbird feeder–on opposite side of my trailer home.

Below: On my computer (doing Vain Lorraine) and saw the Hummingbird on Azalea blooms and then the feeder.

Tackle trailer Tuesday

.

Before the yard sale, I need to shift around a lot more items in the cargo trailer. More things will be offered for sale. ~~ Correction: First time I’ve opened the “cargo” door. ~~ Busy day, lots accomplished (but nothing major to brag about.)

Photinia plant looking for a new home !!

This is earlier blog message. The plant survived the hard freeze and will be included in the yard sale.

.

Today, a few rain sprinkles prompted me to work under the carport pricing items for the upcoming yard”  yard sale. ~~ Another Rainbow’s End resident stopped by to caution me regarding the movement of numerous  venomous snakes* and warned me to be extremely careful.  Other residents stopped by to visit and watch the birds. I welcome visitors (lol) because I can stop and rest for a few minutes!!
